Whereas:Rep. Margaret Oliver bragged her so-called “Assault Weapons Ban” legislation would require Georgia citizens to “turn in their guns;” and
Whereas:Under this bill, dozens of specifically named rifles, pistols and shotguns and magazines holding more than a handful of rounds would be banned; and 
Whereas:Law-abiding Georgians would face outrageous fines, felony convictions and even jail time if they do not completely destroy these firearms or surrender them to the state of Georgia; and
Whereas:This bill was designed to for gun-grabbers to test the waters to see what outrageous schemes they can “get away with;”
Therefore:As a Second Amendment supporter, I am OPPOSED to any legislation designed to ban firearms for law-abiding Georgians.
